The interior changes most. Higher trims add up to three screens, including a 16.3-inch central touchscreen that articulates to reveal hidden storage and an 11.5-inch passenger display. Real wood trim, an available panoramic sunroof, and more standard crew cab space push the cabin upmarket, while expanded Super Cruise carries capability forward.

Every Sierra 1500 starts with real capability. The available TurboMax 2.7L turbocharged four-cylinder makes 310 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque, which GMC calls best-in-class standard torque, and it can pull up to 9,400 pounds when properly equipped. The 5.3L and 6.2L V8s add low-end grunt for merging with a loaded bed.
