Power is the headline of this redesign. GMC introduces two all-new sixth-generation Small Block V8 engines, a 5.7L and a 6.6L, with the 6.6L billed as the most powerful naturally aspirated V8 in its class. Those two join the enhanced TurboMax 2.7L turbocharged four, which GMC says delivers best-in-class standard torque, and the class-exclusive Duramax 3.0L Turbo-Diesel for drivers who want efficiency without giving up pulling strength. Every engine pairs with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
